Fledu was founded by Fraser – a qualified primary teacher with over 13 years experience teaching and leading upper Key Stage 2 and a deep understanding of the 11+ in Bucks. Fraser has supported countless children through the 11+ process during his time in the schools and, as a former headteacher, he knows the system inside and out.
We've created a comprehensive curriculum that supports all aspects of the 11+ while also building wider confidence that carries over into school work too.
At the heart of our approach is a clear purpose: to give every child access to the best opportunities.
We aim to provide calm, confidence-building support that helps pupils feel capable and in control of their learning, always with care, honesty and a strong sense of what each individual needs to thrive.

At fledu, we do things differently. We’re not a franchise — we’re a locally-run, personal tuition business founded by an experienced primary teacher who knows the Bucks 11+ inside out.
We believe preparation for the 11+ should be about more than just doing test after test. That’s why we teach the core concepts behind every question type — building real understanding, step by step. Our progressive curriculum gives children the tools, strategies and confidence they need, in small, supportive groups where every pupil feels seen and valued.
With over 13 years in the classroom, including leadership roles, Fraser has used his experience and subject knowledge to create a thorough, carefully developed curriculum tailored to the demands of the Bucks 11+. Lessons are delivered with his calm, encouraging teaching style and a strong understanding of what children really need to succeed.

How can we help?
The 11+ test can be a daunting experience for children and parents alike so preparation is a key part of the process.
We understand that grammar schools aren’t the right path for every child and the 11+ can come with a lot of pressure - it’s entirely a family’s choice whether to sit it.
But, if your child is going to take the test, the school curriculum alone won’t cover everything they’ll need. That’s where we come in!
By preparing them across all aspects of the 11+, we aim to build not just knowledge but confidence - confidence that supports them in the test and carries through to their everyday schoolwork too.
All sessions at fledu are run by Fraser, so you can be confident your child is receiving expert, consistent support from someone who knows the 11+ inside out. Whether in a group or one-to-one, every session is carefully planned to be interactive, engaging and responsive to the needs of the children.
Families benefit from a truly personal experience. We get to know each child and their learning style and we adapt our teaching to suit them so they feel supported, motivated and ready to succeed.
We use a range of premium, tailored resources that are specifically designed around the GL Assessment format – the provider of the 11+ in Buckinghamshire. These go far beyond what’s typically covered in school, giving pupils targeted, high-quality practice that reflects the real test. With a focus on building understanding, practising technique and growing confidence, sessions are designed to make a real difference.
