Our 1:1 sessions are the heart of what we do at fledu. Designed to give your child dedicated attention, real-time feedback and lessons fully adapted to their pace.
Each lesson covers English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, using a mix of direct teaching, guided practice and structured problem-solving.
Lessons include clear modelling, worked examples and targeted questioning, and are followed by homework to practise and embed the skills learned.
Session details
Length: 80 - 90 minutes
Enough time to give us the right balance of depth and focus. It’s long enough to explore topics in detail, practise a range of question types and build confidence - but not so long that pupils lose concentration. This structure helps them get the most out of every session.
If you've only got an hour, we can make that work too!
Format: Primarily online lessons, giving your child expert 1:1 coaching from the comfort of home.
Initial in-person sessions available to get to know your child and tailor the programme perfectly.
Frequency: Weekly sessions in line with term times
Blocks of teaching align with the school terms to provide consistent and progressive learning. The schedule is designed to ensure your child has enough time to fully grasp each concept and build their confidence ahead of the 11+ exams.
Programme structure: Each 1:1 session is part of a structured academic-year programme covering English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, designed to build skills progressively, consolidate prior learning and ensure readiness for the 11+
