Our small group sessions are the heart of what we do at fledu.
Designed for pupils preparing for the Bucks 11+, these weekly lessons cover all four key areas — English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning — with a clear, structured approach.
Using tailored resources and a curriculum that covers every question type tested by GL Assessment, each session builds confidence and understanding.
We also make use of Google Classroom to share materials, support home practice and keep parents in the loop.
Starting in September 2025, our small group sessions are designed to support every aspect of 11+ preparation, with a focus on verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English and maths.
These sessions are held in Amersham on Saturday mornings in line with term times. Each in-person session will run for 2.5 hours. This gives plenty of time to focus on all the key 11+ areas so your child has the space to build skills and confidence without feeling rushed.
Rooted in well-established principles of instruction, sessions begin by revisiting prior learning to strengthen retention before introducing new content in a carefully structured, progressive way. Children are guided through strategies and techniques for tackling a wide range of question types, with clear, step-by-step modelling. Each lesson includes tailored practice questions and feedback to ensure every child makes progress and feels confident. Additional homework tasks to consolidate and practice their learning are included.
With no more than 12 pupils in a group, your child benefits from focused support, purposeful teaching and the motivation that comes from learning alongside others.

Online sessions are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays - you can choose the day that works best for your family. Once enrolled, your child will attend on the same day each week for the duration of the course, providing consistency and routine throughout the year. Sessions will run from 4 - 5.30pm and follow school terms.
Our online sessions follow the same carefully structured, progressive curriculum, focusing on verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English and maths. Each week, children will join a 1.5 hour live online session, following the same approach as our in-person groups: reviewing prior learning, introducing new content and providing targeted practice and feedback. Homework tasks are included to reinforce learning and ensure consistent progress.
With small group sizes (no more than 12 pupils), your child will still benefit from individualised attention and engaging, interactive lessons that allow them to learn at their own pace, all from the comfort of home.
